With a focus on the rural market from the Auckland Harbour Bridge to Whangarei John successfully transacted in excess of $28 million worth of farms and lifestyle blocks since 2009 (with over 12 million YTD in 2011-12), making him one of the most successful in the North of Auckland rural market.
Prior to joining Bayleys John earned a Diploma of Agriculture and a Bachelor of Commerce and Management (Marketing) at Lincoln University. He then went on to work, in senior sales and marketing roles, for a number of companies with involvement in the rural sector, including Monsanto and ASB Bank.
John says there is no magic bullet to being successful in the rural real estate sector but he credits his success to an honest pragmatic approach to sales and his belief in targeted marketing campaigns.
